Alto Clef

Double Sharps and Flats
A Double Sharp raises a note by 2 semitones, and a double flat lowers a note by 2 semitones. Watch this video for more information:
Breves, double dots, duplets
A breve lasts as long as two semibreves. Watch this video for more information:
Double dots: a second dot after a note adds on half the value of the first dot. For example, a the value of a double dotted minin is that of a minim, plus a crotchet (the value of the first dot), plus a quaver (the value of the second dot equalling a total of 3 and a half beats.
